What kind of person makes a reservation, gets dressed and drives to the location only to purposefully have a bad time ?

Working in a restaurant really makes you question monogamy.

I've been working in the industry for about 14 years . Multiple different establishments and locations. One thing stays constant. Everybody is sleeping with everyone else. No matter the relationship status or position in the organisational hierarchy.

Maybe I'm just jaded but it really makes you question Monogamy.

I work in a fairly upscale restaurant. Most of the people who come in are very well-to-do and accomplished .

One night, this guy comes in with 3 others . We have a strict smart-casual dress code . He did not follow it . I'm talking wife beater top and flip flops . Unfortunately , he could not be sat . He was pissed . Argued with the hostess , supervisor and manager. Then he drops the most cringe line . "DO YOU NKOW WHO I AM." Like the title says "B-List," so only one person on our team recognized him.

And he still wasn't sat .

Customer came in last minute and claimed we ruined her birthday.

We usually only do reservations and we always ask if it's a special occasion ( birthday , anniversary, honeymoon etc). At 8:30pm walks in a party of 3 . No reservation but we squeeze them in.

After barely paying attention to me , talking amongst themselves during my introduction one of the ladies mention it's her birthday and asks for a birthday cake. Yeah, that's not possible. We need prior knowledge of you coming and a cake costs extra (which she found unacceptable).

During dessert we still sang and wished her happy birthday but she was still not satisfied and claimed we "ruined" her night out.

Who are these people ? I get one delusional person but how does this make sense to 3 people ?
